  Abalone at Croft Feach is situated not far from Inverness on the Black Isle just outside Culboker at Duncanston in the beautiful Highlands of Scotland, is ideal for those wishing to spend some quality time in a peaceful location. Our visitors can visit North, South, East and West Highlands either by car or with your own air craft from our own Airfield know as Culbokie Airfield, our field is suitable for Microlights and Paragliding.

We offer our guests superb bed and breakfast / guest house accommodation in luxurious surroundings, all are welcome including children and pets. We are partaking in Homecoming Scotland 2009 and afficialted with Visit Scotland and have atained four star accreditation along with Walkers and Cyclis Welcome awards.

In the local area there are many attractions such as Black Isle Brewery, The Black Isle Wild Life park, Black Isle Agriculture Show held annually in August, Inverness for shopping, The World Highland Games Heavy Championships at Bught Park Arena Inverness, European Pipe Bank Championships at Bught Park Arena Inverness, Culloden Battlefield, Aviemore Ski Centre, Lock Ness, Glenmorangie Whiskey Distillery, Glen Ord Distillery, Tomatin Distillery, Horse Riding at Kessock and Fortrose, Quad Biking, Paint Ball centre, Cromarty Court House, Cycling Tracks to Fort Rose and on to Cromarty and around the Black Isle, Forest Walks in and around Culbokie, Fyrish Hill Monument Easter Ross, Golfing at Fortrose & Rosemarkie Golf Club, Alness Golf Club, Invergordon Golf Club, Muir of Ord Golf Club, Strathpeffer Golf Club, Tain Golf Club, Fairways Driving Range and Inverness Golf Club. These are but a few of the many attraction which can be accessed from Abalone at Croft Feach.

Our Aim

We want our guests to come and enjoy the beauty of the Highlands, to feel at home in our home and to enjoy the surrounding area.  To rest and relax, enjoy gourmet food prepared by our in house Chef, to chill out and remember your visit to us with fondness.

For the children we want them to play to their hearts content while enjoying the freedom and beauty of our large play area and to go home wanting to return for their next vacation.

Abalone at Croft Feach is a large modern property in a rural area set its own grounds of 48 acres on the beautiful Black Isle, it enjoys spectacular uninterrupted views south towards  Strathconon , west across the Cromarty Firth towards Ben Wyvis and north towards the Fyrish monument.  Croft Feach is a very beautiful family home, which is bright, spacious, quiet and welcoming.  Our guests have their own entrance and have the opportunity to enjoy our very large lounge where there is a wood burning stove and large TV, if however you wish to enjoy a leisurely game of chess or play cards all are provided, if none of these appeal to you just sit back and enjoy the wonderful view from the comfort of our lounge.

On the patio our visitors can sit and enjoying coffee and cake or just the wonderful view.

Our resident Chef offers evening meals and caters for many tastes and guests requirements.  If evening meals are required it may be necessary to book in advance as we only prepare fresh foods.  Breakfast is served from 7.30 till 9.00. We offer continental and full cooked breakfast. 

We are situated on the beautiful Black Isle in an ideal location from where our visitors can visit North, South, East and West Highlands.  Attractions such as Aviemore Ski center , Alness for the annual Classic Car Rally in June, Black Isle Agriculture Show held annually in August, Black Isle Brewery, The Black Isle Wild Life Park, Cromarty Court House, Culloden Battlefield, Cycling Tracks to Fort Rose and on to Cromarty and around the Black Isle, Fishing, Fyrish Hill Easter Ross , Glenmorangie Whiskey Distillery, Glen Ord Distillery, Golfing , Horse Riding at Kessock and Fortrose, Inverness for shopping, Lock Ness, Paint Ball center, Quad Biking, Tomatin Distillery, Walking in the Highlands

There are many species of wild life around this very beautiful location, Red Kites and Buzzards can be seen soaring above Croft Feach, there is also an Osprey locally. There are Red Foxes, Wild Deer, Pheasants, Red Squirrels, Scottish Wildcat, and Pine Martens.  On the Cromerty Firth and Morry Firth Bottlenose dolphins and the Common Seal can be seen. At Chanonry Point you will often be able to see Bottlenose dolphins up close. Munlochy Bay is ideal for Bird watching.

  Croft Feach is ideal for those wishing to spend some quality time in a peaceful location, or it is equally good for those wishing to visit Inverness for shopping, Avimore for Skiing or walking in the mountains.

  Within the grounds of Croft Feach there is a 500-meter landing strip, which has been designed for Microlight aircraft.  The strip is grass and runs East-West; the GPS navigational code is 57°35.13N – 004°19.07W.  Microlights are most welcome provided they have the necessary Insurance Cover.  Pilots can fly on to Dornoch in the north Inch in the east and Plockton in the west.  An ideal base from where to fly to all corners of the Highlands and return to a warm welcome and good home cooked food.
